Transformation Epic

Not every idea or action is a Transformation Epic (TrEpic). A Transformation Epic has to meet certain criteria. In this context, we are referring to the “Definition of Ready” (DoR).

The Definition of Ready for a TrEpic can look like this:

The implementation of a TrEpic is

• a change that reduces or eliminates a malfunction in the overall system
• something new that leads to change
• an effect on the entire organization (system, collaboration model, etc.)
• requires at least 2 TIs for its implementation
